Donate to Pay for Billboards to Raise Awareness about Senate Bill 1176
PLEASE help us fight against horse slaughter and pass Senate Bill 1176 The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act. This is our last hope as as of today 11.15.11 Congress passed a bill to allow for millions of taxpayer dollars to inspect horse meat. This means we do not need the U.S.D.A. inspectors anymore and slaughter is back in business. We need to alert the country and need funds to put up billboards in ND.
Sen. Mary Landrieu [D-LA], has introduced Bill S. 1176, American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act of 2011, to amend the Horse Protection Act to prohibit the shipping, transporting, moving, delivering, receiving, possessing, purchasing, selling, or donation of horses and other equines to be slaughtered for human consumption, and for other purposes.
At this point, Bill S 1176 NEEDS CO-SPONSORS. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO FIND YOUR SENATOR. PLEASE EMAIL, CALL AND FAX YOUR SENATOR, AND ASK HIM/HER TO PLEASE CO-SPONSOR S 1176, which is now located in the Senate's Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. FAXES RULE. Please CLICK HERE to send 2 Free Faxes Per Day. No Credit Card Required, and the Faxes DO go through.
It is up to us…Do we want Transport of Horses to Slaughter to STOP? Or do we want Horses to continue being transported to Slaughter for Human Consumption and other Purposes? |

Donate Your Horse
If you have a miniature horse or horses that you can no longer take care of due to circumstances ranging from herd cut, moving, divorce, and more Triple H Miniature Horse Rescue will take them. You will rest easier knowing that your beloved equine is well fed, warm, groomed, loved and getting a safe, loving permanent home. Depending on where you are located, we will pick them up and transport back at no charge. We have applied for our 501c3 tax exemption status so that when a horse is donated you can take a deduction on your taxes. This process takes about 6 months.
Having to part with a pet is a hard thing to do but HHHMHR wants to make that easier for you by caring for your donated horse the way you would want it taken care of. Please fill out the form and send to us or email it to us at hhhmhr@mac.com to get started.
